I Intend To Spend From 70% Less On This Campaign
In the last Congressional election our current Congressman for Arizona's District One spent over two million dollars to get re-elected! That is 13 times more than the job pays! What has our political system come to? Up until now the one that has won the election has been the one with the most money. My goal is to become elected and to do so while spending 70% less than that of the last election. That's right! I intend to spend 70% less than that spent by our current representative in the 2006 elections. I believe that I represent what the people of Arizona want and that my campaign will inspire the citizens of Arizona such that word of mouth from citizen to citizen will get my message out. The maximum donation for the primary election is $2,300.00 and that for the general election is also $2,300.00, or a total of $4,600.00 per individual for both the primary and the general election. Donations must come from an individual's account, and not from a corporate account. The Federal Elections commission requires that for donations over $200 the person making the contribution provide their occupation and employer.
