What I offer Arizona is to take the lead in electing representatives who will restore integrity back into our legislative process. I am not going to promise special interest groups who support me that I will award their support through earmaked contracts or by other means. Though my mission is to bring massive reform to the system, I do have a position on various issues and they are listed as follows.
Foreign Policy
We must "clean up our own backyard first" and re-establish a government whose members act with the highest levels of their own personal Integrity. We must also establish a policy of Accountability from all our elected officials. We will then have re-established a government based on Integrity and Accountability. We can then implement a foreign policy that is first based on a strong defense and one that protects our citizens' world wide. We will be honest in our communications with all foreign countries and be clear with our intent. We will strongly promote peace and cooperation but will not tolerate aggression, deceit or deception from any foreign country.
Health Care
In the year 2002 I healed my self from follicular cell lymphoma, a supposed incurable cancer, and I have a CAT scan to back this statement up. Please note, when I say "I healed myself" what I mean is that yes, I did a lot of work on myself but the true healing came from getting in touch with the depths of my soul. I learned a great many lessons and I intend to promote what is was that I learned so that we may all learn more about why the body gets sick and how to prevent illness.
Education.
Remove the No Child Left Behind Act. I will attend meetings with teachers throughout the country and initiate a program that better meets the challenges of our public schools. I also intend to initiate a program which includes a 10-Step program to a healthier educational experience. This includes teaching our children about accountability and the power of our word in telling the truth in all that we do. This and the other nine steps are those that helped me cure myself from cancer. Even though I was fighting a physical illness the lessons learned will make a better society when taught to our children.
Government, Crime and Welfare
Initiate and promote an Evidence Based Government policy for federal, state and local governments similar to that recently established in New York City. Their CompStat program reduced crime by 70% and their JobStat program, as initiated by the welfare department, had equally impressive results. In short, these programs promote cooperation between agencies. In the police department's CompStat program departments are rewarded based on an overall crime reduction rather than individual arrests. In the JobStat program staff are rewarded by increasing self-sufficiency of the welfare recipients through employment . To be even more successful, in addition to the above I intend to promote my own 10-Step program that will help people on welfare better understand why they are in a particular situation in life in the first place. These principals are similar to those which I used to heal myself of cancer. This will in turn raise the awareness and quality of the individual's life and ultimately that of our society. |
